Matheus Brasileiro Aguiar, or MATUÊ, is a true Brazilian hip-hop phenomenon today.

Considered the biggest name in Trap in the country since his rise in 2017 with the track “Anos Luz”, Matuê has already set several records in the genre and in music in general. A constant presence in the Top 50 on Spotify Brasil since the single “Kenny G” in 2019, the trapper placed his full debut album “Máquina do Tempo” in the Top 15 on the platform, including the Top 1 occupied by the track of the same name.

With this unprecedented achievement, the artist broke the record for the biggest debut of an album on the country’s streaming platforms, previously held by Anitta, opening the doors for Trap to become one of the most listened to genres by the national public.
