This bank holiday weekend, join English folk hero Beans on Toast for an evening of mighty fine entertainment.
Songs, stories and musings are promised from this unique performer as he draws from his huge and much loved back catalogue of music and books.
A veteran of the UK festival and touring circuit, Beans writes simple songs about complicated subjects and never fails to celebrate the beauty of human existence. His live shows are both inspiring and entertaining, a relaxed and fun affair that leaves you feeling like you’ve met up with an old friend, and you’re all the better for it.
Also playing will be Australian bushman and master songsmith William Crighton and the sensational rising folk star Ann Liu Cannon.
This seated show will chime with the long history of The Clapham Grand, one of London’s oldest music halls that once saw Charlie Chaplin grace its legendary stage. The Grand has recently been brought back to the forefront of London nightlife by Ally Wolf, an old friend of Beans, and this evening will continue the venue’s legacy of being a palace of modern variety.
