FOLLOWING A SELL OUT RUN AT WILTON’S MUSIC HALL, AND A YEAR LONG STRIPPED BACK RESIDENCY AT THE HALF MOON, SEVEN DECADES IS BACK WITH AN ALL NEW SHOW, SEVEN DECADES LIVE.

FOR THREE NIGHTS ONLY IN OCTOBER, MIKE ROSS AND THE SEVEN DECADES BAND WILL TAKE THEIR INCREDIBLE COLLECTION OF VINTAGE ELECTRIC GUITARS, AND PLAY THE STORY OF HOW THESE GUITARS HAVE PROVIDED THE SOUNDTRACK TO SEVEN DECADES OF MUSIC.

THE PRODUCTION IS A UNIQUE MULTIMEDIA SHOW. THE BAND PLAY THE SONGS AGAINST A BACKDROP OF A WONDERFUL NEW FILM BY ACCLAIMED FILMMAKER, NICK MORRIS, WHILST THE STORY IS TOLD BY A NARRATOR.

SEVEN DECADES LIVE IS PART DOCUMENTARY AND WHOLLY A LIVE ROCK AND ROLL SHOW. IT STARTS IN 1951 WITH THE FENDER TELECASTER THE WORLD’S FIRST MASS PRODUCED ELECTRIC GUITAR AND THE LES PAUL, GIBSON’S RESPONSE, AND OVER THE NEXT 90 MINUTES PAINTS A NARRATIVE AND MUSICAL ARC THAT TAKES US FROM THE FIFTIES ALL THE WAY TO THE PRESENT DAY WITH SOME GREAT MUSICAL STOPS ALONG THE WAY.

FROM JAMES BURTON TO JIMI HENDRIX, THE BEATLES, AND LED ZEPPELIN, ALL THE WAY TO RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE AND MUCH, MUCH MORE, THIS IS A TRULY EPIC TALE OF HOW A SIMPLE INVENTION HAD A REVOLUTIONARY IMPACT ON THE WORLD.

THIS SHOW CELEBRATES THE ENDURING INFLUENCE THAT THE FENDER TELECASTER, GIBSON LES PAUL, AND FENDER STRATOCASTER HAVE HAD ON MODERN MUSIC AND CULTURE, AND ALL THE SONGS IN THE SHOW ARE PLAYED ON THE CORRECT, VINTAGE INSTRUMENT.
