Unfortunately when they built the venue in 1900, a car park wasn’t top of the priority list, and we advise everyone to use public transport where possible.
The area around The Grand is residential parking only. There is a secure car park underneath Clapham Junction station, where you can pay to park using the website JustPark.com which is the best value in the local area.
Entry to the venue will be denied for anyone found parking on Severus Road, Eckstein Road and Comyn Road out of respect for our neighbours.
We allow small consumer-type cameras into The Grand, but not professional SLR-type ones. Unfortunately we cannot issue photopasses or grant access to the photopit as this is done directly by the promoter.
Looking for photos from our shows? Head to our Facebook page and view our galleries.
Photos from the weekend usually go up on a Tuesday morning, and e-mails sent later that day with links to the galleries if you left your e-mail with the photobooth assistant.
If you have accessibility requirements and wish to attend an event, first buy a ticket through any of our ticketing channels, then contact firstname.lastname@example.org, prior to the show, with your name and access needs.
If the event is sold out we cannot sell extra tickets.
People with accessibility requirements may need to have someone with them. We offer disabled guests a complimentary ticket for personal assistants. This arrangement is made through the venue and not the ticketing agencies, please contact us at email@example.com after purchasing your general admission ticket, with the name of your assistant, and we will put them on the guest list.
Please note, this excludes meet and greets or VIP packages.
There is level access into the venue via the doors on the right hand side as you look at the building.
People with disabilities are offered priority entry (queue jumping!) and are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the doors open for a show, so that you have time to find a suitable space inside the venue.
The accessible viewing area is located on the ground floor, between the main bar area and the dancefloor. Once inside, there are no steps and easy access to two bars and both male and female toilets. There are great sight lines to the stage.
However, please note there is no level access to all areas of the venue, The Grand is an old Victorian Theatre (no lifts) and there is no access to the main dance floor for wheelchairs, or the balcony/circle area.
Our toilet cubicles are wide enough to accommodate a standard sized manual wheel chair, with room to manoeuvre. There is step free access to both male and female toilets. If you have a larger motorised chair, please contact the venue directly and we will provide as much information as possible to help you make an informed decision before attending the venue.
The smoking area is located at the front of our venue. If a person using a wheelchair wants to go outside to smoke, just speak to a member of staff in the reception area, and they will assist you.
If you need to bring any medicines, food or drink to manage a medical condition, or medical equipment you are welcome to do so. We don’t have any medical equipment at the venue. Please inform the manager on duty when you arrive before going through search.
We’re always keen to hear your ideas and suggestions, and welcome any feedback you have. If you enjoyed your experience with us, or if we didn’t reach your expectations for any reason please let us know and we will do all we can to resolve the situation.
